Cicada

The previously mentioned bug.

As it turned out the bug my Mom wanted me to see was a molting cicada under neath a milk-weed leaf. We stuck around bouncing back and forth between it and the raccoon's as we watched it shed its skin.

I liked the color and clarity of this one better than the rest. Although throughout this excursion the camera was afflicted with fuzziness and spots. Probably the late-evening light.
