Humanizing horses always leads to the most distant relationship between human and original pone.

Suddenly said to myself a few days previous: what if I humanized a MLP character and dressed them in 19th century uniforms. Question involved into: who would fit, and how can I avoid the British.

Shining Armor was the best contender I could think of for this race change. Which provided a whole other challenge: how can I stick to the uniform he's been shown to wear on formal occasions, still without being British. So, I looked up red uniforms in military dress and found the US Marine Corp Band wears the inverse colors of the standard uniform, meaning: red. Applied this to mid-19th century marine uniforms, and this was the result.

And thus the most distant humanization I could ever think of doing is done. I can say I'm happy with everything but his face.
